New Years Social Media Resolutions

“Successful People Don’t Make New Years Resolutions, They Know Their True Self Worth, That’s Why You Wont See Me Making One.”

I was told this from my dear friend last night. At first I laughed, then I stopped and thought about it. In one way he may be correct, but in another way he is also wrong. We as humans are all our own individuals with our own individual thoughts. Being rich or poor doesn't make a difference if we have goals set forth. A new year will always mean a new you. I have a new years resolution that I shared via social media with my friends and family. I wasn't afraid, it wasn't to brag, it was strictly to show people I have goals set forth and maybe it offers them hope to do what they want. We have all said it before, if he/she can do that then I know I can. That's the power of social media, it can create positivity for others. My new years resolution is to become a known author. Its something I have always dreamed of, and by golly I reckon’ this year I will achieve it. I grew up poor, a only child and on a horse ranch, but I never let that deter me. I struggled and I made my own future, a future that my family is proud of. Just cuz someone’s successful doesn't mean you quit dreaming, you quit making goals. In my world one should never stop striving for their dreams, for success . Unless you were born with a silver spoon handfed to you by hands of gold, its up to you to make your worth. To all who read this, no matter what you do in life always do the best you can do. If you make it that's wonderful, if you don't make your resolution this year, there is always next. Always be positive and remember, we all only get one life, one chance, so make as many resolutions as you can…….
